This is a collection of 12 English Wassail songs, arranged for Brass Quintet. The 12 songs have traditional melodies but the harmonisations are all my own. In most cases, the tunes are rather short, so would be repeated as often as necessary, with the performers varying the melody in turn, as the mood takes them.
There is no set order in which to play the music, but there are 12, so that a different one can be performed on each of the 12 days of Christmas. |
