A brand new arrangement for clarinet quintet of this well-known tune by Praetorius. It begins with an introduction of long notes, with the final voices coalescing into one phrase of the melody before the setting begins in earnest. The first section is repeated but in the third verse, a fanfare idea is introduced which then permeates the final verse, leading into a grand plagal cadence Amen.
